1st Annual Rail Fest was held in downtown Williamson, WV on October 18-19, 2002. It was a huge success!

Be sure and plan to attend the 2nd Annual Rail Fest 2003 which will be held on October 3-4, 2003.
J.D Williamson entertained children at Rail Fest with his drawings and storytelling.

Confederate Railroad performed for Rail Fest goers. They sang many of their hits, such as "Trashy Women" and "Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind"
Model Train Show

with several exhibits, vendors, and the N&W Historical Society attended with many items on hand
Children loved it!

Many kids came dressed in their railroad attire ready to celebrate the event.
US Filter

Volunteers from
US Filter prepared pork BBQ as a fund raiser for the Museum. More than $700.00 was donated.
Board Members and Volunteers also donate their time, working many hours preparing for Rail Fest.
Hillbilly Choo Choo

This street train thrilled adults and children alike. Rail Fest goers kept the train going full speed ahead all weekend. The train traveled around a two block radius in downtown Williamson.
