Grand Opening

The grand opening proved to be very successful. There was a large crowd there to welcome the opening of the museum. Enjoy the pictures!
The wonderful spead of food was supplied by
The Brass Tree Resturaunt.
Williamson Area Railroad Museum President, Margaret Conner was there to welcome some visitors.

The museum has lots of donated railroad items on display.
The board members were there to have an official ribbon cutting.
Volunteer, Rose Tackett, was there to handle the sign-in book,
Inside the museum is a video room that holds rows of chairs. There is a selection for railroad enthusiasts to choose from.
This china was what the passengers were served their meals on during their long ride.
There was a wonderful turn out for the grand opening. Both long-time railroad fans and new young railroad fans came to view the museum's exhibits.
